What is Sag ?

Sag is momentary voltage drop phenomenon within one second.
There are two causes why sag happen.

First, natural reason such as lightning, storms, snow, heavy winds, or damage by wild animal and plant.
Secondly artificial reason which is manly about input voltage drops by electrical overloading due to peripheral equipment usage.

More than 90% of frequent quality problem of electrical input power is caused by Sag.
According the data of Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO), Sag happens 50~70 times a year and average economic losses due to the Sag a year in Korea is KRW650,000m(USD 600M).
